Consistent Performance Leads to Victory in Division Carli Truant maintained a strong and steady pace throughout her half marathon, demonstrating consistent performance across the 13.1-mile course with an overall time of 1:24:27. She started at a swift 5:13 min/mile for the first mile before settling into a steady pace ranging between 6:23 and 6:47 min/mile. Her average pace was well-maintained at 6:26 min/mile, reflecting her ability to hold a consistent effort from start to finish. Notably, Carli excelled in her division, securing the 1st place in the F30-39 category. She also positioned herself strongly in the field, coming in 4th for females and 7th overall out of 636 participants. For future races, she could benefit from focusing on maintaining the initial fast pace for a longer duration, potentially improving the split times in the latter parts of the race.
