Consistent Performance and Strong Division Showing Josephine maintained a consistent pace throughout the 13.1-mile half marathon, with only minimal variation. Her initial mile was her fastest at 5:42 min/mile, securing top positions across overall and gender placement. As the race progressed, Josephine kept her pace steady around the 6:49 min/mile mark from mile 8 onwards, which demonstrates her endurance and consistency. Her finish time was an impressive 1:29:25, maintaining that pace over the long haul. Despite slight fluctuations in ranks, Josephine consistently excelled in her age division, finishing second in the F30-39 category. Her pacing strategy served her well, particularly in the latter stages of the race, where maintaining that consistent split enabled her to secure a top position in her division.
