Consistent Performance with Steady Improvement Tony King maintained a steady pace throughout the 10K handcycle event, finishing with an overall time of 1:16:40 and an average pace of 12:22 min/mile. Impressively, he ranked 7th among male participants. His initial mile pace was 10:52 min/mile, displaying a strong start and placing him 11th overall at that point. While there was a gradual pace increase, reaching 12:50 min/mile in the second split, Tony managed to stabilize his pace around 12:25-12:26 min/mile from the third split onward. Notably, his final mile was the fastest split after the first, clocking in at 12:18. Trainers suggestion: working on maintaining that initial pace through to the next few splits could help improve overall results. This effort shows promise and provides a solid benchmark for future races.
