Consistent Start and Strong Middle Splits Raja Chennupati delivered a steady performance during the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Starting with an initial split of 8:57, he quickly improved his pace, clocking in an impressive 8:24 at the 4-mile mark, reflecting strategic pacing. Notably, Raja consistently improved his division standings early on, moving from 37th to 30th in the M55-59 category by the 4th mile. In the latter half of the race, Raja's pace gradually slowed, peaking at a 11:05 pace in the last mile, but his performance remained commendable, holding a 9:20 average pace throughout the race. By the end, Raja Chennupati secured 44th place in the M55-59 division, 1170th in the male category, and 1580th out of 4907 overall participants. Continuing to work on consistent pacing in the latter halves could enhance his results further, building on the promising splits from the first half.
