Consistent Performance with Division Podium Finish Ashley's performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K showcased impressive consistency and strength. She completed the 13.1-mile handcycle race in 2:44:11, maintaining an average pace of 12:32 min/mile. Notably, Ashley secured 2nd place in the F35-39 division. Her early performance set a strong pace, with the first mile at 10:37 min/mile, illustrating her ability to start strong. Despite a slowing pace in the middle miles, Ashley displayed resilience by improving her pace again towards the end with a mile as fast as 11:38 min/mile. Analyzing the splits provides insights into her race strategy. While there were a few slower stretches, particularly between miles 4 and 5 with split paces of 15:14 and 13:53, she rebounded well, finishing strong.
