Remarkable Progress in Houston 10K Jack Adams delivered an outstanding performance in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. Covering 6.2 miles in 36:10, he averaged a pace of 5:50 min/mile, placing 3rd overall. Notably, his pace remained consistent across the splits, with the fastest at mile 1 (5:40 min/mile) and his last mile just slightly slower at 5:52 min/mile. His performance was a substantial improvement from the previous year, demonstrating an increase in pace from 8:14 min/mile to 5:50 min/mile. He showed impressive mid-race strength, particularly between miles 3 and 5, maintaining or slightly improving positions from 4th to 3rd place. This consistency across a competitive field is a key highlight in his performance. Jack was first in the M25-29 division, continuing his upward trajectory.
