Steady and Consistent Performance by Kathryn Kathryn Gallardo displayed commendable consistency throughout the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, maintaining an overall pace of 11:03 min/mile. Her first mile was the fastest with a 10:23 min/mile split, but the subsequent miles saw minor variances, notably a slower pace of 13:03 min/mile between the 9th and 10th miles. Kathryn's ability to regain pace quickly is evident, especially impressive in a race with over 4900 participants. Although not among the top finishers, Kathryn placed 951st in the female category and 143rd in her age division (F35-39). She completed the 13.1-mile course in a total time of 2:24:52. Despite an increase in elapsed time between splits, she handled pacing well and showed resilience.
