Consistent Finish in Half Marathon Challenge Manju Reddy, representing the HTW Mystic Milers, completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with an overall time of 3:25:54, averaging a pace of 15:43 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Positioned 34th in the F60-64 age group, she sustained an impressive consistency across her splits. Notably, her fastest mile was the fourth, at a pace of 13:06, which disrupted an overall trend of paced improvement. Analyzing the splits, Manju started with a steady 14:19 min/mile pace for her first mile. Between miles 4 and 5, her performance showed a commendable rally, notably improving her elapsed pace to 14:48, which she maintained throughout the midsection of the race. Towards the latter miles, there was a slight increase in split times, peaking at 16:49 in mile 10. Focusing on a steadier pace for the entire race might help in improving future times. Overall, a commendable performance, showcasing durability and consistent energy throughout the race.
