Consistent Progress and Improved Pace Nirmala demonstrated remarkable consistency and progress in this year's Half Marathon. With a total elapsed time of 2:25:55, she completed the race with an improved pace of 11:08 min/mile compared to last year's 12:01 min/mile. Her performance analysis reveals a strong start with a 10:41 min/mile by the third mile, gradually maintaining around that pace until the sixth mile. Splits highlight that while her pace slightly decreased in the latter half, she showed resilience by finishing strong, especially during her last mile clocking at 11:05 min/mile. Her position improved steadily, moving from 2839th position overall at the first mile to 2722nd by the end. Being 47th in her division (F50-54) out of 61 finishers also reflects positively on her efforts. A key focal point for future races could be maintaining that sub-11 min/mile pace consistently throughout all segments to minimize any increases in split times during the latter miles.
