Consistent Pacing with Mid-Race Recovery Leads to Strong Finish Freddy Euceda completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:06:12. He maintained a consistent pacing strategy, finishing with an average pace of 9:38 min/mile. Noteworthy is Freddy's ability to recover pace mid-race; after slowing to 11:38 min/mile between miles 1 and 2, he improved his pace, consistently staying around 9:00 min/mile for the majority of the race. His split times between miles 3 and 10 reflect steady performance, with sub-10-minute paces contributing to overall race improvement. The final three miles showcased Freddy's ability to maintain this momentum, ending with a strong finish at mile 13 with a split pace of 9:57 min/mile.
