Dominant Finish with Consistent Pace Claire Barrie delivered a strong performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, finishing with an impressive time of 41:33 for the 10K event. She maintained a consistent average pace of 6:42 min/mile across the 6.2-mile distance. Notably, Claire excelled among her peers, securing first place in both the female gender and her division categories. Examining her splits, Claire started with a swift 6:35 min/mile for the first mile, showing strong initial momentum. Despite a slight decline in pace at mile four with a split pace of 6:58 min/mile, she managed a vigorous finish by regaining her pace in the final mile, clocking 6:43 min/mile and maintaining her position. Going forward, focusing on maintaining an even pace through the middle stages could enhance overall performance. Keep up the excellent work, Claire!
