Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Susan Aguilar maintained a steady pace throughout the Houston Half Marathon, totaling a time of 3:44:23 at a 17:07 min/mile pace. Notably, her pacing remained consistent, with the quickest split at mile 12 with a time of 15:47 min/mile. Placing 1745th out of 4907 female participants and 350th in her division (F25-29) marks a solid performance. Analyzing her splits, Susan's initial mile pace was 15:50. Although she experienced slower segments, such as mile 10's 19:52 split, she demonstrated resilience and concluded strong in mile 13 at 16:34. Compared to her previous 10K, where she averaged 14:54 min/mile, there is a noticeable difference to reflect upon. Working on sustaining a faster pace over longer distances could be beneficial for future races. Overall, participating as part of the "Vahle Nummer Eins" team, Susan's efforts showed commendable dedication and execution.
