Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Khoa Nguyen completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K in a time of 2:19:05, maintaining an average pace of 10:37 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. He achieved a significant milestone by securing 3rd place in his M35-39 division, 20th overall, and 15th among male participants. His pacing strategy showed consistency across the race, with split times mostly around 11 minutes per mile in the first two-thirds of the race, which effectively positioned him within the top ranks of his division. In the later stages, Khoa exhibited notable speed improvements, recording several sub-11-minute miles, including a strong finish with a final split of 10:28. This increased pace contributed to his excellent overall placement in the competition.
