This marks a significant enhancement from her previous half marathon performance, where she finished in 3:26:46 at a pace of 15:47 min/mile. Overall, she moved up in rankings, placing 3681st out of 4907 participants, improving from last year's 4129th out of 5084. Analyzing her split times, Carol began with a strong pace, completing the first mile in 11:56. Her pace varied throughout the race with the most considerable slowdown between miles 11 to 12, taking 14:57. Nevertheless, she demonstrated resilience by recovering well, closing out with a final mile time of 13:39.
