Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Warren Koshak maintained a solid start with his pacing through the early miles of the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. In the first 5 miles, Warren averaged between 10:17 to 10:50 minutes per mile, with the most impressive split being the fourth mile at a 10:17 pace. His performance in the division was notably consistent, remaining between 26th and 31st position in the M60-64 category through the halfway mark. This consistency is commendable and indicative of a strong base pace. However, as Warren proceeded towards the latter half of the race, the splits show a gradual slowdown, with the final mile at a 13:53 pace. This resulted in an overall finish time of 2:29:11, which was slower compared to his 2024 performance. Reviewing pacing strategies for the latter segments of the race could lead to improved endurance and performance in future events.
