Her average pace was 11:20 min/mile. Starting strong, her initial split was completed in 10:32, ranking 5th in her division. Over the course of the race, her pace decelerated slightly, with her final mile at a pace of 11:53. Despite this, she maintained a commendable 7th position in her division throughout most of the race. Mary displayed steady endurance and commitment throughout her run. While maintaining consistency, there's potential to improve her pace between miles 5 and 10, where a slight slowdown is noticeable, suggesting targeted interval training could optimize her performance. Given her past performance of 2:05:46 in the 2024 half marathon, re-focusing on her training routine could help to regain this speed.
