Consistent Speed and Steady Improvement Tanvi Rao exhibited a notable performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Her consistency across the 13.1 miles is evident, maintaining an overall pace of 8:24 min/mile. Starting at an 8:55 min/mile pace for the first mile, she progressively improved, reaching her best split at mile 5 with a pace of 8:13 min/mile. This steady enhancement reflects her endurance and capability to strategize effectively during the race. A significant aspect of Tanvis race was her climb in placement. She advanced from 1102nd at the first mile to 847th by the races end, moving up 255 places overall. Additionally, she improved from 247th to 161st in the female category and entered the top 26 in her division (F25-29). Remaining part of the UTHealth Houston team, further optimization in the later miles may enhance her impressive finish. Great job pushing through, Tanvi!
