Consistent Effort with Opportunities for Pacing Adjustments Dickson Tran completed the 10K at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K with a time of 1:07:09, averaging a pace of 10:49 min/mile. In the M35-39 division, he finished 54th. His performance showed a consistent progression in pacing. Starting with a 9:42 min/mile for the first mile, his pace gradually changed, peaking at 11:27 min/mile by mile four. His ability to maintain effort across the varied paces is commendable. Analyzing the splits, there is an opportunity to improve pacing consistency. The first mile was performed faster than subsequent splits, with a gradual deceleration.
