The early splits showed a consistent enough performance, with slight variations in pace, such as the 9:35 pace at mile 6. A key highlight was at mile 12, where Nikolas accelerated to an 8:31 min/mile pace, significantly improving his position to 1104th in his gender. This strong effort in the later stages reflects his determination and ability to maintain a fast pace when needed.
