The race consisted of a 13.1-mile course. Notably, Samin improved her age group placement in the latter parts of the race, finishing 143rd in her division (F45-49), demonstrating she effectively reserved energy for a strong finish. Throughout the race, Samin maintained consistent pacing, with split times ranging from 13:10 to 19:12 min/mile. The 13:10 split in the final mile is particularly impressive, highlighting a burst of speed which contributed to her strong finish. There was a peak pace of 14:32 min/mile at mile 6, showcasing Samin's potential to maintain faster splits. An opportunity exists to work on reducing split variations, particularly addressing slower segments like the 19:12 pace at mile 8, to achieve even more consistent performance in future races.
