Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Adriana Morandi, representing The Greater Run Club, showcased consistent pacing and gradual improvement throughout the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Starting with an initial pace of 10:52 min/mile, Adriana steadily increased her speed, finishing with a 9:23 min/mile split in the last stage. Her overall elapsed time was 2:16:12, with an average pace of 10:23 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Despite beginning with placements higher in the field, Adriana worked to progressively improve her standing, ultimately placing 33rd in the F50-54 division. Her strongest performance came between miles 10 and 13, where she consistently pushed her pace under the race average. Adriana's noticeable improvement towards the latter half of the race indicates potential for future gains by maintaining this pace progression earlier in races. Her consistent effort paired with a strong last mile showcases a commendable racing strategy.
