Consistent Completion of a 10K Mayra Gomez from Houston, TX participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. She completed the 10K race with a total time of 1:25:59, resulting in an average pace of 13:52 min/mile. Mayra maintained a steady pace throughout the race, despite slight variances in her split times. Her first mile was clocked at 12:12, the fastest in her performance, while her slowest split was the fourth mile at 15:35 min/mile. There was a small gain in placement towards the latter part of the race. For instance, she improved her placement from 1297 to 1270 overall in the final two miles. In her division, F25-29, she finished 141st. It's noteworthy that her last mile was quicker than her fourth, indicating a well-measured race execution.
