Consistent Early Splits Steady the Race Jessica Sennett completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with an overall time of 3:54:03, averaging a pace of 17:51 minutes per mile. Impressively, her performance remained consistent in the initial miles, maintaining a stable pace of 15:39 minutes per mile for the first three splits. She started strong, placing 1567th in her gender and 194th in her division among females aged 40-44. Over the middle and later stages, her pace slightly decreased, with her fourth mile being the fastest at 16:19 minutes per mile. By the 13th mile, her split pace increased to 20:03 minutes per mile. Despite the slowdown, she finished 216th in her division. There is an opportunity to focus on maintaining her initial consistent pace throughout the race for future improvements. Participation represents significant dedication, showcased by her involvement with the BGR! Houston team.
