Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Alan completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:35:45, covering 13.1 miles. His average pace was 11:53 min/mile. Starting with a split pace of 11:44 min/mile for the first three miles, his performance highlighted consistency. By Mile 7, Alan picked up speed with a split pace of 11:25 min/mile, the fastest segment of his race, landing him in the 423rd spot in the M30-34 division at that point. Throughout the race, Alan fluctuated slightly but demonstrated stamina. He experienced his slowest pace at Mile 12 (12:48 min/mile), which saw him in the 406th position in the division. Despite this, he ended strong by closing the final mile in 12:53. Considering he placed 408th in his division and 1976th overall among males, working on maintaining speed for the latter miles could further enhance future performances.
