Steady Improvement and Strong Pace Management Katherine Saski demonstrated a commendable performance during the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, finishing with a time of 1:58:04 and an improved pace of 9:00 min/mile. Her consistent pacing resulted in a notable climb in the rankings, finishing in 1312th place overall out of 4907 participants and 50th in her division. Katherine's split times varied impressively, with her fastest mile at 8:33 and the slowest at 9:43, showing her strong ability to accelerate as the race progressed. Compared to her performance in the previous year's race, Katherine showed substantial improvement, cutting down her time by about 18 minutes. Her place improved significantly from 2256th in 2024 to 1312th in 2025. Encouragingly, she moved up in her gender and division rankings as well. Continuing to focus on maintaining even tighter control on her pacing strategy might yield even more impressive results in future races. Great progress has been made!
