Consistent Performance with Room for Growth Kaitlin Ou maintained a consistent pace throughout her 10K race at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. She started strong with her first split time at 11:09, and her pace slightly decreased throughout the race. Her overall elapsed time was 1:15:06 with an average pace of 12:06 min/mile. Kaitlin remained steady, despite a drop in pace from 11:09 min/mile for the first mile to 12:07 min/mile by the sixth mile. In her division, Female 25-29, Kaitlin placed 98th out of 2010 participants, finishing 514th among females and 989th overall. Her placement shows potential for advancement with increased focus on pacing strategies for the latter part of the race. Continual monitored pacing could improve her overall time and rank. As a member of Team Solemates, Kaitlin contributes to the group dynamic and demonstrates consistent effort, setting a solid foundation for future races.
