Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Miguel Nunez participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, completing the 10K event in 1:26:58 with an average pace of 14:01 min/mile. Throughout the race, he maintained a consistent pace, starting with a 13:36 min/mile split in the first mile, only slightly slowing down to 14:20 min/mile by mile four. His placement remained fairly steady, with a finish at 1306th overall and 96th in his division for M25-29. An analysis of his splits shows improvement in the latter half. Mile five saw a quicker pace of 13:52 min/mile, and he finished strong in mile six with a split of 13:18 min/mile. This suggests Miguel has potential for a faster overall time by focusing on sustaining his early pace.
