Consistent Strong Finish with Pace Improvements Jose Alfonzo delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Jose began strong, clocking a 5:59 min/mile for the first mile, and impressively maintained sub-6-minute miles for the majority of the race distance. His finishing time was 1:18:21, landing him 21st overall out of 4,907 participants, demonstrating a high level of competitiveness. Analyzing the splits, Jose maintained a steady pace, notably pushing harder in the last few miles.
