Consistent Performance Throughout the Race Lisa Jones completed the 10K at the UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K with a total time of 1:20:02, averaging a pace of 12:54 min/mile. Notably, her pacing remained fairly consistent throughout the race. Her fastest mile splits were the first and fifth miles, clocking in at 12:43 min/mile and 12:42 min/mile, respectively. Overall, Lisa finished 1130th out of 2010 participants, placing 612th in her gender category and 34th in the division for F55-59. A highlight of her race was the recovery from her slowest split, which was mile four at a pace of 13:10 min/mile. She managed to improve significantly in the subsequent mile. While her positioning fluctuated slightly, she maintained solid placements within her age group, demonstrating good endurance and pacing. To improve further, Lisa may want to focus on maintaining a steady pace in the middle sections of her runs.
