Steady Improvement Throughout Kale Kitlowski maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Starting with a pace of 9:21 min/mile in the first mile, Kale progressively improved to finish with an overall pace of 8:48 min/mile. Notably, the fastest split was recorded between miles 7 and 8, at a pace of 8:35 min/mile. His overall rank advanced from 1428th in the first mile to 1099th by the end, showing effective pacing strategy. Kale's final time was 1:55:21, with a commendable display in the M25-29 division, placing 173rd out of 4907 total participants. Compared to his previous 10K race in 2024, there was a noticeable increase in pace efficiency, dropping from 8:55 min/mile to 8:48 min/mile in this half marathon.
