Consistent Performance with Strong Division Standing Jaime Brown delivered a steady performance in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, completing the 10K with a final time of 58:33 and an overall pace of 9:26 min/mile. Starting strong, she completed the first mile in 8:55, ranking second in the F45-49 division. As the race progressed, her pace shifted slightly, reflecting consistency with mile splits mostly within the 9:00 to 10:00 range. She maintained impressive division placements throughout, finishing fifth in her age group of F45-49. Her placings in both the female category and overall were commendable, as she finished 105th out of all female participants and 329th in a field of 2010 participants. Notably, Jaime's strongest split was in the initial mile, highlighting her quick start. Continued focus on maintaining this initial pace across the mid-race splits would optimize future runs.
