Consistent Improvement Across the Board Asia Bright showed noticeable progress at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. Over the 10K distance, she maintained a steady increase in pace at the beginning, starting with a 10:23 min/mile in the first mile and clocking an average pace of 11:00 min/mile for the race overall. Compared to her previous results, Asia improved her overall timing to 1:08:15, from 1:09:51 in 2024. Her consistent pacing throughout, only slightly slowing in the later miles, showcases a balanced approach to race strategy. Her placement improved significantly as well, moving from 998th overall in 2024 to 727th in 2025 out of a total of 2010 participants. In the F30-34 division, she climbed from 98th to 79th place. Consider focusing on maintaining pace in the later phases, particularly between miles 4 and 6. Keep building on this year's performance by incorporating consistent pacing efforts during training to push these improvements even further.
