Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish in the 10K Joe Willey completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K with a total time of 1:45:36, averaging a pace of 17:02 min/mile. Throughout the race, Joe demonstrated impressive consistency in his mile splits, starting with a 17:33 min/mile pace and progressively improving down to a 16:47 min/mile by the fifth mile. His best pace was achieved between mile 4 and 5, indicating solid endurance and pacing capability. Joe's rankings show a steady performance throughout the event. He maintained a position among the top half of his division, finishing 98th in the M35-39 category. Notably, Joe improved his overall standing from 1574th at the third mile to 1529th by the sixth mile.
