Consistent Early Pace with Endurance Focus at 2025 Houston 10K Michael Bond demonstrated a consistent pace throughout the 10K race. Starting at an 8:53 min/mile pace, his performance was stable through the early stages, with a slight improvement in the second mile at 8:49 min/mile. His pacing strategy kept him competitive within his division, maintaining a notable position in the M35-39 age group. The subsequent miles showcased an average pace stabilizing around 9:14 min/mile. In particular, the fifth mile split was 9:34, slightly slower, but followed by a quicker sixth mile at 9:16. Overall, Michael finished with a time of 57:19. He maintained his position well against the wider field of 2,010 participants, achieving 32nd in his M35-39 division.
