Steady Effort with Consistent Pacing Hani Meelad completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K in 1:21:25. Displaying consistency, his average pace stood at 13:08 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. Starting strong with an 11:37 min/mile for the first mile, Hani experienced a gradual pace increase, peaking at 14:01 min/mile in mile four. Notably, he managed to recover and improved his split pace to 12:58 min/mile by mile five. Hani placed 1169th overall out of 2010 participants and landed in 68th position in the Male 40-44 division. His pacing strategy proved effective in maintaining a consistent performance, highlighted by his final sprint, where he slightly improved his position from 530th to 521st among male competitors in the last mile.
