Starting with a pace of 12:35 min/mile, Frank progressively increased his pace, achieving a notable 9:55 min/mile in the final mile. This consistent improvement is reflected in his overall time of 1:11:16, averaging an 11:29 min/mile pace over the 10K race. He steadily advanced from 993rd to 837th place overall, showing strong mid-race determination and execution. In the Male 35-39 division, Frank moved up from 59th to 60th position by the race's conclusion. Notably, his rank within the gender category also saw favorable movement from 437th to 418th. Joining the race as part of the UTHealth Houston (Official) team, Frank's pacing strategy and incremental improvements throughout the race can serve as a foundation for future participation, focusing on maintaining or improving pace consistency early in races for continued success.
