Strong Start and Consistent Finish Lucy Lyde delivered a notable performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. Maintaining an average pace of 11:10 min/mile, Lucy completed the 10K in a total time of 1:09:14. She showcased strong pacing at the start of her race with a consistent pace of 10:11 min/mile in the first mile. Her position evolved over the course, holding a strong fourth place in her age division for the first three miles before settling into fifth by the end. Lucy finished 5th in her F15-19 division out of all participants, indicating strong age group competitiveness. Throughout the race, her splits varied slightly, with the most significant pace change occurring between Splits 3 and 4. The transition led to a slower mile time of 12:10.
