Consistent Effort and Strong Division Performance Tina's performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K displayed noticeable consistency across the 10K course. Starting with a first mile pace of 10:30 min/mile, she improved slightly in the second mile to 10:01 min/mile, demonstrating a faster pace. However, there was a gradual slowdown over the next few miles with split paces of 11:09, 11:32, and finally 11:38 min/mile at the sixth mile. Her overall finish time was 1:08:23, averaging an 11:01 min/mile pace. Tina placed 20th in her F45-49 division, showing competitive participation among her peers. Though her overall and gender placements saw slight drops as the race progressed, her placement in the division remained notably consistent. Focusing on maintaining or slightly improving her early race pace in later miles could be beneficial for future races to enhance overall performance.
