Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Audrey Crawford competed in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, showing impressive pacing throughout. Starting with a 9:32 min/mile pace for the first mile, she gradually increased her speed, running a remarkable negative split. Her pace improved each mile, culminating in an impressive 8:34 min/mile for miles 11 and 13. Her overall performance was consistent, maintaining an overall pace of 8:49 min/mile. Audrey placed 33rd in her division, Female 20-24, out of 4907 participants. Her positioning improved steadily as the race progressed, moving up from 49th at mile one to finish 33rd by the end. Suggestion for further improvement would be to focus early on setting a slightly brisker pace, as her late-race improvements demonstrate she has the capacity to finish even stronger.
