Steady Mid-Pack Finish in 10K Performance Yanna Williams completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K with consistent pacing. Her overall time was 1:25:18 for the 10K distance, maintaining an average pace of 13:45 min/mile. Yanna's split times demonstrate a steady effort, with only a slight deceleration noted in the latter stages of the race. Her initial mile was completed in 13:34, showing a strong start. Though there was a modest increase in her pace toward the end, she maintained a consistent pace throughout. Yanna placed 39th in her division (F50-54), finishing 1277th overall out of 2010 participants. Her ranking improved as the race progressed, moving up from 733rd to 683rd in gender placement by the third mile. Yanna is encouraged to focus on maintaining her pace evenly over all splits to enhance her performance, especially in miles four through six where her pace slowed. Great job representing BGR! Houston with determination and consistency.
