Consistent Effort and Progress Over Each Mile Cristina Romero maintained a steady pace throughout the 10K race at the UTHealth Houston event. Starting with a pace of 14:05 min/mile for her first mile split, her overall pace averaged at 15:40 min/mile for the race. Notably, her pacing was consistent with mile splits ranging from 14:05 to 17:01 min/mile. She completed the race with an overall time of 1:37:13, covering a total distance of 6.2 miles. In terms of placement, Cristina demonstrated consistency within her age division, F25-29, beginning at 145th place and finishing in 164th. Her placement within the female category progressed similarly, starting at 777th and finishing at 860th out of 2010 participants overall. Slight pacing adjustments in future races might help lift overall placement. Being part of the SWCOEH EOHS TEPHI team may provide collaborative strategies to enhance race performance further.
