Steady Performance with a Strong Start in the 10K Israel Uzcategui participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, clocking an overall time of 41:20 in the 10K event. His average pace was a consistent 6:40 min/mile. Impressively, Israel positioned first in his M30-34 division for the first two miles, demonstrating a strong start. However, as the race progressed, his pace shifted slightly slower, particularly evident between miles three and four, where his split pace decelerated to 7:12 min/mile. A review of the race data shows Israel's best split was at mile one with a time of 6:06. His overall placement in the M30-34 division was fourth among a total of 2010 participants.
