Impressive Improvement Over the Miles Chenyue Huang participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, showcasing a commendable performance through consistent improvement across the race. Starting with an initial split pace of 10:35 min/mile, she progressively increased her pace through each mile. By the final split, her pace improved to 9:18 min/mile, demonstrating a strong finishing ability with an average pace of 9:48 min/mile by the end of the race. Throughout the event, Chenyue made strategic placements in her division and gender categories. She moved up from 273rd to 160th in her gender, and improved from 52nd to 33rd place within her age division. These advancements suggest her strong competitive drive and capability to maintain endurance. For future races, focusing on an even faster start could help secure a stronger position early on.
