Consistent Pace, Opportunities for Gains Zoe maintained a consistent pace throughout the race, finishing the 10K in 1:54:39 with an average pace of 18:29 per mile. The splits show a minor increase in pace at certain points, such as a steady 18:06 min/mile at mile 2 and another 18:05 min/mile at mile 5. Notably, Zoe improved her overall placement as the race progressed, gaining positions between the miles with her best placement improvement overall on mile 6. Although Zoe started strong, there was a slight variation in pace with the slowest split occurring at mile 4 with an 18:47 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining a more even pace in future races could potentially improve time performance. Zoe placed 173rd in her division F25-29 and 976th in her gender category. As a member of the UTHealth Houston team, there's potential for growth in future races through focused pace consistency and targeted training.
