This progression through the splits resulted in moving up 184 places overall, demonstrating a strong, consistent performance. Mary's effort placed her 991st overall and 72nd in her division (F35-39) out of 2010 total participants. Notably, her placement improved during each split, indicating effective pacing strategies. Focusing on maintaining a steady increase in pace, specifically in the earlier miles, could shave more seconds off her total time, adding to her momentum.
