Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Grant Ebel maintained a remarkable pace during the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, showing a consistent improvement throughout the race. Starting with a split pace of 9:05 min/mile, Grant accelerated progressively, reaching a split pace of 7:32 min/mile in the 13th mile. He covered the half marathon distance of 13.1 miles in an elapsed time of 1:47:45, with an overall pace of 8:13 min/mile. Throughout the race, consistency was evident, especially after the 6th mile, where he continuously improved his placement. By the last mile, he had moved up to 695th place overall. Ending 59th in the M20-24 division, Grant showed admirable endurance and strategy. For future races, starting just a bit faster could provide even greater gains, as his potential to sustain a strong pace throughout is well established. Keep up the excellent work, Grant!
