Consistent Finish with Strategic Pacing Arianna Cumming completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K with a total time of 1:16:55, maintaining a steady average pace of 12:24 min/mile. Arianna's performance showed strategic pacing, with each mile demonstrating a consistent approach. She started strong with an 11:29 min/mile pace in the first mile and saw slight increases in pace, eventually reaching 12:37 min/mile by mile six. From a placement perspective, Arianna finished 1054th overall out of 2010 participants, placing her in the top half of the event. In her gender category, she finished 560th and placed 53rd in her division of F20-24. Notably, she regained some positioning in the latter part of the race, improving her place in the division from 54th to 51st between miles five and six. For future races, consider maintaining the initial pace for longer to potentially improve overall race time. Great job representing UTHealth Houston!
