Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Tyler maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, holding a remarkable overall split pace of 7:57 minutes per mile. In the initial miles, Tyler showcased strong pacing, with his best split at mile 3, clocking in at 7:44. Importantly, his performance shined with a seemingly effortless balance maintaining his split pace mostly under 8 minutes per mile until the end. In the latter part of the race, Tyler slightly dropped his pace, particularly in miles 12 and 13, where he ran 8:27 and 8:25, respectively. Despite this slight slowdown, Tyler's resilience is noteworthy with decent improvement in his placement across overall, gender, and division categories over several intervals. Maintaining focus on sustaining pace during the last few miles could improve future races. Overall, Tyler's performance represents a solid effort and potential for further growth.
