Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Christina Solis maintained a consistent pace throughout the 10K race at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. Starting with an initial pace of 15:29 min/mile, her overall pace gradually became more challenging, closing with a pace of 16:35 min/mile. Noteworthy is her ability to slightly improve her pace on the last mile compared to her previous split, demonstrating resilience. Christina finished with a time of 1:42:46, securing the 59th place in her F50-54 division. Among 2010 participants, her final positions were 1519th overall and 899th amongst females which reflect steady performance. It's recommended to focus on maintaining a steady split time throughout, especially beyond the fourth mile, which might help conserve energy for a stronger finish. Overall, being part of the UTHealth Houston team, Christina showed commendable spirit.
