Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Madi Ang's performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K showcased a consistent effort throughout the 10K race of 6.2 miles. Starting with a steady pace, Madi maintained an average pace of 12:25 min/mile, finishing the race in 1:17:03. Notably, her strongest split was the third mile at a pace of 12:02 min/mile, which helped stabilize her overall performance. Despite a slower sixth mile with a pace of 13:39 min/mile, Madi demonstrated resilience and endurance across the distance. Throughout the race, Madi consistently placed within the middle third of her division, "F20-24", with her best split ranking at 48th position during the fourth mile. Maintaining position relative to her peers indicates a solid competitive effort. For future races, focusing on maintaining the pacing consistency evident in the earlier segments could help mitigate the slower final split. Overall, a commendable performance as part of the UTHealth Houston team.
